Our Fees In Relation To Different Categories of  Visas

Our exact fees will depend on the circumstances of your particular case. You will need to pay us extra legal fees in relation to any additional family members. We will determine our fees depending on the following circumstances:

  • The type of application
  • The amount of supporting evidence that we need to consider
  • Which language(s) you speak
  • Whether you are applying with dependants

Our fees include:

  • Discussing the circumstances of your case in detail, confirming the most appropriate application for you to make and advising you on what other options may be available to you
  • Giving you advice about the requirements of the Immigration Rules and whether you meet the criteria
  • If you do not fulfil certain criteria, whether this can be overcome and how
  • Considering the supporting evidence you have provided
  • Where necessary, helping you obtain further evidence (such as medical records and bank statements), including considering statements of any witnesses
  • Preparing your application and submitting it on your behalf
  • Booking the super priority service depending on the visa application category
  • Attendance at a Home Office interview. If the Home Office ask you to attend an interview, we will give you clear advice (and discuss the possibility of us attending with you) at the appropriate time
  • Giving you advice about the outcome of the application and any further steps you need to take
  • Considering the number of documents, whether they need to be translated, whether anything is missing and how long it will take for you or us to obtain the missing documents

DISBURSEMENTS (NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICING SET OUT BELOW)

Disbursements are costs related to your matter that are payable to third parties, such as visa fees. We handle the payment of any disbursements on your behalf to ensure a smoother process. These are not included in the fees quoted above as they vary depending on what work is required.

OUR QUOTED FEES DO NOT INCLUDE:

  • VAT
Vat applies in cases where people already have Leave to Remain in the UK. This should be added to our figures at 20%.
  • Our fees quoted do not include fees for work if the Home Office refuses your application/dependant’s application and our advice and assistance is required in relation to any appeal or Administrative Review.
Immigration Health Surcharge is to be paid in every application (except applications for Indefinite Leave to remain or Naturalisation)
Annual per person fee £624
Home Office fees and Super Priority Fees Please refer to the Home Office Web Site
UKVCAS FEES Please refer to the UKVCAS Web Site
Tribunal fees
Paper appeal £80
Oral appeal £140
Translation fees: variable depending on language and number of words.
Interpreters fees: These fees are difficult to estimate, and we will have to obtain a quote from a third-party interpreter who we will use. Sometimes only a couple of hours is needed with an interpreter, other applications may need 10 or 15 hours. The number of hours needed will vary depending on the complexities of the case. Clients do not always need to use an interpreter of our choosing and may bring a friend or associate to come and help interpret.
Independent expert reports e.g. medical experts – these are not required in many cases, we will let you know as soon as possible if we consider an expert report is necessary. (£1,500.00 – £5,000.00)

TIME FRAME FOR IMMIGRATION APPLICATIONS:

The length of time that it will take to complete the work will depend on the circumstances in your case. Such as:

  • The amount of supporting evidence that we need to consider
  • Whether anything is missing and how long it will take to obtain the missing documents
  • Which language(s) you speak
  • Whether you are applying with other dependants

We cannot guarantee how long the Home Office will take to process your application. The current processing times can be viewed at the Home Office Website. All applications are likely to vary and of course, we can give you a more accurate estimate once we have more information about your specific case. Please note the anticipated fees are an estimate based on the circumstances above. All applications are likely to vary and of course, we can give you a more accurate estimate once we have more information about your specific case.

Debt Recovery – the costs involved

These costs apply where your claim relates to an unpaid invoice or invoices which are not disputed and enforcement action is not needed. If the other party disputes your claim at any point, we will discuss any further work required and provide you with revised advice about costs which might be on a fixed fee basis, conditional fee or an hourly rate basis.

We can give you a more accurate estimate of costs once we have more information about your specific case.

Civil Litigation

Most of our services are offered on an hourly rate basis and as many of our clients’ matters are complex and often involve multiple parties, there is rarely a typical case. Our clients are given an estimate of costs after our initial meeting or as part of the engagement process. There are some areas where we are able to be more indicative and, as in accordance with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) guidance on price transparency, we have published our price and service information where it is possible to be upfront about charges without knowing all the details of the matter.

Price information for private individuals.
This information is intended to inform private individuals about our fees for Civil Litigation matters. These fees do not apply to work undertaken for corporate clients.

We have set out the hourly rates for lawyers at different levels.

The below rates and fee estimates are exclusive of VAT and disbursements. Professional fees will be subject to VAT at 20% where this is applicable.

As Employer

We charge an hourly rate depending upon the level of fee earner. Our hourly rates vary from £121 plus VAT to £250 plus VAT according to location. We require payment for the initial meeting and then money on account if you decide to proceed. Our policy is then to bill all work in progress at the end of each calendar month. You can reduce the time we spend on your case by sending any relevant documents to us in advance together with a short description of the work. We always like to see a copy of employment contract if you have one. You will be charged for pre-reading any material in advance of the initial meeting.
